The introduction of the 6-digit generation of GMT Master II's in 2005 saw many modern upgrades. This included a brand new movement, a redesigned bezel with a (Cerachrom) ceramic insert, 24 clicks instead of 120, a newer case with more robust lugs and a larger crown guard, a new-style bracelet with polished center links and a solid clasp, a Maxi dial topped with larger hour markers, wider Mercedes hands, and bold, green accents. This ref: 116713LN is the Yellow Rolesor variation of the collection. A pairing of 904L-grade Oystersteel with 18 karat yellow gold, both of which are forged in the Rolex factory foundry.

A Personal Note:-

My passion is for vintage, so this piece is too modern for me personally! That said, I can really appreciate the quality and design of this piece. It looks superb and works brilliantly well. Enough said!

Condition:-

This piece came from the first owner and was worn in rotation. It is 100% original and in almost as new condition, having just been gently tidied up by my Rolex accredited watchmaker.

To the naked eye, the watch case is pretty much perfect, and only shows a few tiny marks from general use, when viewed through a loupe. The case has never been opened and therefore the dial and handset are spotless.

The crown and rotating bezel work perfectly, and the screw-in caseback is unmarked.

The bracelet is in unbelievably good condition, having been gently polished, and is almost free of any perceivable stretch. The Rolex clasp shuts perfectly with a nice ‘click’. The blades are in perfect condition and the coronet is perfectly defined on the clasp.

This comes as a full set, apart from the very outer card box cover. Original purchase receipt, all tags, card, instruction manual, leather wallet, cloth and green box.

Movement:-

The Rolex Cal. 3186 is keeping incredible time, almost as if it just left the factory. Great accuracy, no beat error and high amplitude. All functions are perfect.

I guarantee the authenticity and the working order of this piece at the time of sale, and will offer a 1 year extended warranty. Although this is a sports watch with a good factory depth rating, it has never been opened, is used and from 2014. So as with all my watches, I cannot guarantee it to be waterproof at the factory listed depth. Personally though, I wouldn’t hesitate to use it as intended.
