About the company

First and foremost, I am a passionate private collector. The reason this business came to be. Consequently, I am dedicated to curating a diverse selection of primarily vintage and neo-vintage timepieces.

As this isn’t my main occupation, I have the freedom to select pieces simply because they appeal to me. I search for watches I genuinely admire or would happily wear myself, without being guided by price, size, style, or brand loyalty. What matters most are their quality, condition, originality, and the quiet sense of history they carry.

I pride myself on my honesty and will always do my best to disclose as many details as possible, and display a good selection of photographs. However, if I have missed anything, I would appreciate you getting in touch.

Watches I have for sale can be viewed in person at my business premises. However, please note that watches are not stored on site, and this is therefore only possible with prior notice.

Thank you,

James

About me…

As a boy, I remember admiring my fathers 60’s Omega Constellation. Now mine, it reminds me of him and I cherish it. I also have memories of going to antiques fairs with my uncle, hunting for watches to sell on at his Auction House in Germany. The hustle & bustle. The banter.

Whilst studying in Heidelberg in 2001, I stumbled upon an great little shop. The owner displayed both new and vintage watches at the front, and did his servicing at the back. I loved this place, and with a student budget, purchased an automatic Tutima FX Chronograph. I still have this piece too.

Since then, I have kept a keen interest in various styles of watches, specifically those with mechanical movements. However, vintage is where my passion really lies now. The challenge of finding these pieces, the research, the scholarship and sometimes the restoration process, gives me great satisfaction. Somewhat organically, this led to me starting my little business.

For my main occupation, I curate, design and produce a varied selection of interior furniture and furnishings, retailed through my long-standing family business, located in Tenterden, Kent.
