Not a vintage piece by any means, but a completely original watch from my personal collection and purchased brand new by myself in 2009.
If you are looking at this watch, you will most probably know all about its design, history and it's complications already. So I will concentrate on its condition .
Condition:
This watch in extremely nice shape and has been worn in rotation, sparingly, the whole time I have owned it.
The case has never been refinished and has no damage. Only superficial marks from general wear. The lugs have their sharp factory chamfers and brushing and the rest of the case is also very sharp.
The screw-down crown is also in great condition and functions perfectly in all positions. The smooth bezel and the caseback, although very lightly marked, are also in great shape.
The dial is beautiful and can be enjoyed through the perfect crystal. Both free from damage.
This watch benefits from coming with two original factory calf leather straps. One brown and one black. I mostly wore the watch on a non factory strap, so both of these have been used very sparingly and are therefore in beautiful condition. These straps are very expensive to purchase from IWC.
The deployment hinge point has no perceivable slack and the clasp itself shuts reassuringly and crisply.
The 44 jewel IWC 51110 in-house, automatic, 7 day power reserve movement is running nicely, especially considering it's age.
I guarantee this watch and paperwork to be completely authentic and will offer an extended 6 months warranty.
