Rolex Oysterdate Precision ref: 6694. 'I.69'

£2,195.00

A Rolex Oysterdate Precision, ref: 6694. Produced 1st quarter 1969.

- Manual wind Rolex cal. 1215, 17 jewel movement, 18,000vph

- Fitted with Rolex 7205 bracelet, clasp code ‘4 69’ (1969) & no. 60 end links.

A 34mm reference from 1969, fitted with its original bracelet. This quiet classic is a case study in successful minimalist design. Often overlooked by vintage collectors, yet it offers a restrained and timeless nature that you will be hard-pressed to find in any of the brand’s contemporary models.

This particular piece has a radial brushed silver ‘-T SWISS T-’ no-lume dial, with silver markers and hands.

Condition:-

This particular piece is in very honest, used condition. The case components, although clearly showing signs of use over the years, is still very nice, with the lugs retaining their factory shape, and the reference number & serial still visible.

The dial is very clean for its age, with no loss of paint or lettering. The plexiglass is brand new and of the highest quality.

The crown is the Rolex original twinlock item and the screw-in caseback is also original Rolex. All seals have been renewed.

The bracelet is original to the watch head and remains in good condition with the Rolex coronet nice and pronounced and the clasp shutting reassuringly.

Movement:-

There is no service history with this watch, but there is plenty of evidence of work done in the past, in the form of service markings inside the caseback. However, the hand-wound cal. 1215 movement is running very nicely.

I guarantee the authenticity and the working order of this piece at the time of sale, and will offer a 3 month extended warranty. Please don’t expect it to be waterproof.
