Omega Seamaster 300 ref:165.024. 1960’s

I was offered this by a jeweller friend in a really terrible state. Filthy and with a heavily scratched plexi. However, upon uncasing the movement and dial, its potential was revealed and a deal was done. luckily I enjoy a good restoration and after a few hours cleaning the watch up I was left with a rather nice looking piece. And an additional bonus, was that it was paired with a 1039-516 stretch bracelet.

The cal.552 is still in need of a service and the bezel action still needs improving, but it’s been a highly enjoyable piece to wear.
