Omega Seamaster 120 ref:166.0251. 1979

I spent over 2 years looking for this reference. It’s a fairly rare beast. Eventually and rather luckily, I came across an incorrectly listed watch for sale. I jumped at the opportunity and a price was agreed.

A one owner watch which had just been freshly serviced by Omega. With a great case and bracelet, but with a damaged bezel insert. Omega had fitted service hands and a new date wheel, but included the originals. Some months later I sourced a donor watch with a nice bezel in order to improve the original.

For me, this is one of those watches which has an incredible, timeless appeal and I very much doubt it will ever leave my collection.
