Eska 14k Rosegold
A late night Ebay searching session led me to this piece. Once again, found purely by chance and I only had terrible photos and a worthless description to go by. But something seriously intrigued me. When it arrived several days later and I was instantly relieved to have won it.
The shaped case is fairly bonkers, and so is the plexi crystal, whilst the aged dial is very understated. Age-wise, I’m actually not sure…..What I do know is that it’s a quality piece, displaying a stamped Poinçon de Maitre no.5, signifying that the case was made by Georges Croisier, succ, de Lacreuze et Cie, Genève. One of Patek’s favoured case makers at the time.
I cleaned this piece up, recut and polished the plexi, had had the movement serviced and found a bracelet which would fit. I absolutely love this piece.
